Unbillable

For agencies with 5 to 25 clients

The report you
keep putting off:
the bad month.

Any tool can write a good month. Unbillable is built for the one where spend went up and it did not work: what happened, why, what we got wrong, and what we do next, in your voice and at your level of bluntness. You paste a past email where you had to deliver bad news, and it writes the way you actually write when it counts.

One client and two reports on the free plan. No card, no calendar link, no demo call. Refer a colleague and you both get a third report.

“Writing out the ‘here is why CPC went up but ROAS is fine’ paragraphs for every single client takes forever. It's 100% unbillable time.”
— an agency owner, describing why Monday night is report night

Two things nobody else does

  • It reads your bad-news sample, not just a good month. That is the only sample that tells anyone how you explain a miss without losing the account.
  • Every report has a “what we got wrong” section. Short, specific, never empty. The sentence clients actually remember, and the one no competitor ships.

How it handles the month you would rather not write.

Most report tools are trained on the sunny version of your job. This one is built around the paragraph that costs you the evening.

  1. 01

Give it one good month and one bad one

Two labelled boxes. A report from a month that behaved, and a report where you had to deliver bad news. It studies them separately, and the bad-news one is what sets how you explain a miss. Neither is a style guide: paste the real thing, typos and all.

  2. 02

Paste the numbers, and set the bluntness

Spend, clicks, CPC, conversions, CPA, ROAS, plus any rows of your own. Then pick cushioned, balanced, direct or blunt. It starts where your writing says you actually sit, and it changes the first line of the Why section.

  3. 03

Add the three sentences only you know

Why the number moved. That CPC is up because you added broad match, that ROAS held, that the creative set is stale. This is the part no dashboard could ever infer.

  4. 04

Get four sections, including the honest one

What happened, why, what we got wrong, what we are doing next, plus a three-sentence version for the client's boss. Edit any line. Regenerate one section without touching the others. Copy as clean text into Gmail or Docs.

What it will not do

  • It will not invent a cause. If your note does not explain the movement, the report says so in a sentence you can send, rather than guessing at a plausible reason.

  • It will not pull from your ad accounts. v1 is paste-and-go, on purpose: no OAuth, no access request to your client's Google Ads, nothing to explain to procurement.

  • It will not send anything for you. You read it, you edit it, you send it. An agency that sends unreviewed client email is a lawsuit waiting for a date.

  • It will not fabricate a mistake to fill the fourth section. If your note admits nothing, it names the weakest judgement call the numbers actually show, and you can overwrite that line.

The arithmetic, if it matters

One report, hand-written45–60 min
Eleven clients, once a month8–11 hrs
Billable value of that time$0
Unbillable, Studio$79 / mo

If it gives you back one evening a month, it has paid for itself twice.

Flat monthly, by how many clients you carry.

No per-report metering, no credit pack that runs out the week four reports land on the same Monday. Every referral adds a free report to your account on both sides.
